Waxing is a method of hair removal that involves the use of a sticky, resinous substance to remove unwanted hair from the body. This substance, known as wax, is applied to the skin in the direction of hair growth, and then quickly removed in the opposite direction, pulling the hair out from the roots. Waxing is a popular hair removal method because it is relatively quick and efficient, and can provide long-lasting results. It is typically used to remove hair from the legs, arms, underarms, and bikini area, but can be used on any part of the body where unwanted hair grows. Because waxing removes hair from the root, it can take several weeks for the hair to grow back, giving the skin a smooth, hair-free appearance for an extended period of time. At Crystal Look our estheticians will follow the steps below when performing our services:

1. Before the waxing service begins, the client will be asked about the specific services they require. Our esthetician may assess their suitability for the treatment and to disclose any relevant medical information.
2. The client will be asked to remove any clothing or jewelry that may interfere with the waxing process.
3. The esthetician will then cleanse the area to be waxed with an antiseptic solution to remove any dirt, oils, or other debris that may interfere with the waxing process.
4. The esthetician will then apply a layer of wax to the area to be treated, using a wooden applicator.
5. The esthetician will then use a cloth or paper strip to quickly and smoothly remove the wax from the skin, along with the hair.
6. The esthetician will repeat this process until the entire area has been treated.
7. After the waxing is complete, the esthetician will cleanse the skin again and apply a moisturizing lotion to soothe and protect the skin.
8. The client will be given aftercare instructions to follow to ensure the best possible results and to minimize any potential irritation or discomfort.
